Video: Understanding color on the Web

This 6½-minute video summarizes the major color systems discussed in the tutorial, with emphasis on developing pages with accessible contrast between text and background.

There are "do-it-yourself" versions of the video's HSL and RGB discussions on our Using HSL and Using RGB pages. Likewise, the video discussion of using the models together is done with our Demo page, and the section on contrast development is from an earlier version of our (now) "micro" color picker (see previous "App" page).
